Atli Örvarsson (The Hitman’s Bodyguard, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, Defending Jacob, The Edge of Seventeen, Vantage Point, Eurovision Song Contest, The Eagle) is the composer of the new CBS drama FBI: International. The third iteration of the network’s FBI franchise is created by Derek Haas (3:10 to Yuma, Wanted) and stars Luke Kleintank, Heida Reed, Carter Redwood, Vinessa Vidotto and Christiane Paul. The series follows the elite operatives of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s International Fly Team as they travel the world with the mission of tracking and neutralizing threats against American citizens. Haas is also executive producing the Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television production with Dick Wolf (Law & Order, NYPD Blue), Matt Olmstead (Prison Break, Stumptown), Michael Katleman (Cowboy Bebop, Life on Mars) and Arthur Forney & Peter Jankowski (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit). FBI: International will premiere on September 21 and will air every Tuesday night on CBS.
Örvarsson also continues to score the original FBI series and its first spin-off FBI: Most Wanted, which will also return for new seasons on September 21, as well as the Dick Wolf-produced NBC shows Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med, which will launch its new seasons the following day, September 22. He also recently scored Árni Ólafur Ásgeirsson’s Icelandic feature Wolka, which will be released in local theaters this fall.
