Singer/songwriter Kevin Morby has made his film scoring debut on the upcoming drama Montana Story. The film is directed by Scott McGehee & David Siegel (What Maisie Knew, The Deep End, Bee Season) and stars Haley Lu Richardson, Owen Teague, Kimberly Guerrero, Asivak Koostachin, Gilbert Owuor and Eugene Brave Rock. The movie follows two estranged siblings as they return to the family ranch they once knew and loved to care for their ailing father and must confront together what home now means to them. McGehee and Siegel are also producing the project with Jennifer Roth (The Whole Truth, Jimmy P.). Montana Story will premiere this month at the 2021 Toronto Film Festival.
