Bear McCreary (Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Battlestar Galactica, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Happy Death Day, Colossal) is the composer of the upcoming Apple TV+ original series Foundation. The show is developed by David S. Goyer (Batman Begins, Blade) based on the novels by Isaac Asimov and stars Jared Harris, Lee Pace, Lou Llobell, Leah Harvey, Laura Birn, Terrence Mann, Cassian Bilton and Alfred Enoch. The sci-fi drama chronicles a band of exiles on their monumental journey to save humanity and rebuild civilization amid the fall of the Galactic Empire. Goyer is also executive producing the Skydance Television production with Robyn Asimov, Josh Friedman, Cameron Welsh (Krypton), David Ellison & Dana Goldberg (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan) and Bill Bost (Grace & Frankie). McCreary has previously collaborated with Goyer on the Starz series DaVinci’s Demons and NBC’s Constantine. Foundation will premiere on September 24, 2021 exclusively on Apple TV+.
McCreary’s current and upcoming TV also scoring projects include Starz’s Outlander, Netflix’s The Witcher: Blood Origin & Masters of the Universe: Revelation, Apple TV+’s See and AMC’s The Walking Dead. Among his upcoming feature projects is the animated feature Blazing Samurai and Adam Sherman’s This Game’s Called Murder.
