Brian D’Oliveira (Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Resident Evil VII: Biohazard,Gentefied) has composed the original score for the new Netflix anime film The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf. The movie is directed by Kwang Il Han and stars Theo James, Lara Pulver, Graham McTavish and Mary McDonnell. The Studio Mir production tells the origin story of Vesemir as he raises from poverty to become a witcher and must face the demons of his past. Beau DeMayo wrote the screenplay based on the The Witcher book series by Andrzej Sapkowski. Han and DeMayo are also producing the project with Lauren Schmidt Hissrich who serves as the showrunner on Netflix’s live-action The Witcher series. A soundtrack album featuring D’Oliveira’s score will be announced soon. The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf will premiere this coming Monday, August 23 exclusively on Netflix.
