Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1975 action thriller The Eiger Sanction directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Eastwood himself, George Kennedy, Vonetta McGee and Jack Cassidy. The 2-CD set features the expanded original score from the Universal Pictures production composed and conducted by John Williams (Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jurassic Park, Jaws, Schindler’s List, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial), including the world premiere release of the complete score on the first disc and a remastered version of the original soundtrack album, as well as bonus tracks on the second disc.
