Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, The Trial of the Chicago 7, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Birds of Prey, Enola Holmes, Steve Jobs) has been tapped to score DreamWorks Animation’s upcoming feature The Bad Guys. The film directed by Pierre Perifel (Bilby) is based on Aaron Blabey’s best-selling Scholastic book series of the same name and follows five notorious bad guys who’ve been behind big heists – Mr. Wolf, Mr. Snake, Mr. Piranha, Mr. Shark and Ms. Tarantula – as they attempt their most challenging job yet…going good. Damon Ross and Rebecca Huntley are producing the project. The Bad Guys is currently scheduled to be released in theaters nationwide on April 15, 2022 by Universal Pictures.
Pemberton’s other upcoming feature projects also include the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse sequel, which is set to be released on October 7, 2022 by Sony Pictures.
