Natalie Holt coming out of seemingly nowhere with guns blazing and both barrels firing. Her work on the music for Loki is nothing short of a renaissance of Electronic Music.
Just got home, plugged in the good DAC, popped on the AKGs & had a good listen to “TVA”. I’m in tears. Shades of Wendy Carlos, Vangelis, Beethoven, all dovetailing around so much new. Cannot wait to hear the full soundtrack. Seriously, 0.57 in, niagara falls. How can something be so hauntingly beautiful. And the way the colors rush forward!! Wrapping around the theremin, awash in gold, orange and purple. All the while staring at this endless kaleidoscopic expanse. Breathtaking.
Fantastic soundtrack!
