Dustin O’Hallloran (Lion, Like Crazy, Transparent, The Old Guard, Ammonite, The Hate U Give) & Herdís Stefánsdóttir (The Sun Is Also a Star, We’re Here) have signed on to score the upcoming drama Swan Song. The film is written and directed by Benjamin Cleary (Stutterer) and stars Mahershala Ali, Naomie Harris, Awkwafina, Glenn Close and Adam Beach. The movie is set in the near future and follows a loving husband and father who is diagnosed with a terminal illness and is being presented with a controversial alternative solution to replace himself with a carbon copy clone. Ali is also producing the Anonymous Content production with Adam Shulman (Defending Jacob, Song One) and Jacob Perlin (The Amazing Johnathan Documentary, Bonding), alongside Jonathan King (On the Basis of Sex, Snitch) for Concordia Studio. Swan Song is expected to be released in theaters and on Apple TV+ later this year.
Stefánsdóttir also has the FX on Hulu original series Y: The Last Man coming up.
