LEE Film Stockholm has released a soundtrack album for the Swedish animated feature The Ape Star (Apstjärnan). The album features the film’s original music composed by Minna Weurlander and Tania Naranjo. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. The Ape Star is directed by Linda Hambäck and features the voices of Pernilla August, Stellan Skarsgård, Melinda Kinnaman and Rebecca Gerstmann. The movie is based on Frida Nilsson’s book of the same title and tells the story of an orphaned girl who is adopted by a gorilla. The film is currently scheduled to be released in Swedish theaters this June (after being pushed back several times due to the pandemic) by SF Studios.
