Jeff Danna (The Good Dinosaur, Onward, The Addams Family, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, The Boondock Saints) has recently recorded his score for upcoming Netflix animated feature Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans. The film marks the culmination of Guillermo del Toro’s Tales of Arcadia saga and features the voices of Emile Hirsch, Lexi Medrano, Charlie Saxton, Kelsey Grammer, Alfred Molina, Steven Yeun, Nick Frost, Colin O’Donoghue,Diego Luna, Tatiana Maslany and Nick Offerman. The movie takes place after the events of the Tales of Arcadia trilogy and follows the heroes of Arcadia who must band together to protect humanity from the evil Arcane Order, who wield their dark and uncontrollable magic to summon ancient titans that threaten to destroy the world. Francisco Ruiz Velasco and Andrew L. Schmidt are directing the DreamWorks Animation production. Marc Guggenheim (Arrow, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow), Dan Hageman & Kevin Hageman (The Croods: A New Age, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark) wrote the script and are also executive producing the project with del Toro (The Shape of Water, Pan’s Labyrinth) and Chad Hammes. Danna has previously composed the music for the second (3Below) and third season (Wizards, co-scored with John Fee) of the trilogy, while Tim Davies scored the original season (Trollhunters) with themes by Alexandre Desplat. Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans will premiere this year on Netflix.
