Filmtrax will release a new soundtrack album for the family comedy The War with Grandpa. The album features the original score composed by Christopher Lennertz (The Boys, Lost in Space, Horrible Bosses, Sausage Party, Agent Carter, Tom & Jerry) from the original version of the movie, which has been released in several international territories last year. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 5 and will be available to stream/download here. The label has previously released Aaron Zigman’s for the score for the re-edited version of the film, which opened in the U.S. last fall and is still playing in select theaters. The War with Grandpa is directed by Tim Hill and stars Robert De Niro, Oakes Fegley, Uma Thurman, Laura Marano, Christopher Walken, Rob Riggle, Cheech Marin and Jane Seymour. The movie follows a boy who is forced to give up his bedroom when his grandfather moves in and devises a series of pranks to drive him out. The comedy is now also available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
