Steven Price (Gravity, Our Planet, Suicide Squad, Over the Moon, Baby Driver, Fury, The World’s End) has recently been scoring the upcoming Netflix original film Sweet Girl. The movie marks the feature directorial debut of producer/cinematographer Brian Andrew Mendoza (Frontier, Braven) and stars Jason Momoa, Isabela Merced, Marisa Tomei, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Raza Jaffrey, Justin Bartha, Adria Arjona, Lex Scott Davis, Dominic Fumusa, Brian Howe, Michael Raymond-James, Nelson Franklin and Reggie Lee. The action thriller follows a devastated husband who vows to bring justice to those responsible for his wife’s death while protecting the only family he has left – his daughter. Gregg Hurwitz (The Book of Henry) and Philip Eisner (Event Horizon) wrote the screenplay with revisions by Will Staples (The Right Stuff). Momoa and Mendoz are also producing the project with ASAP Entertainment’s Brad Peyton (San Andreas, Journey to the Center of the Earth) and Jeff Fierson (Daybreak). Sweet Girl is set to premiere this year on Netflix.
Price’s other upcoming projects also include Edgar Wright’s Last Night in Soho, which is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on October 22, 2021 by Focus Features.
