Universal Music has released a soundtrack album for the Chinese fantasy adventure Soul Snatcher. The album features the film’s original music composed by Joe Hisaishi (Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, My Neighbor Totoro, Departures, Howl’s Moving Castle) . Visit Amazon or any other major digital music service to stream the soundtrack and to check out audio samples. Soul Snatcher is directed by Song Haolin & Yi Liqi and stars Chen Li Nong and Li Xian. The movie produced by Jiang Zhiqiang follows fox spirit Bai Shisan who disguises as a young man and travels to the human world in search of a divine pill in order to achieve immortality and befriends an innocent scholar whom he later realizes is the key to his transcendence. The fantasy drama was released in Chinese theaters this past December and is now available in the U.S. on VOD.
