Meliam Music has released a new soundtrack album for the Spanish musical comedy My Heart Goes Boom! (Explota Explota). The album features the film’s original score composed by Roque Banos (Don’t Breathe, Evil Dead, In the Heart of the Sea, The Machinist, Come Play, Sexy Beast). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and other digital music stores), where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. Universal Music has previously released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie (click here to order the CD version as an import). My Heart Goes Boom! is directed by Nacho Alvarez and stars Ingrid García-Jonsson, Verónica Echegui, Natalia Millán, Fernando Guallar, Fernando Tejero and Pedro Casablanc. The movie based on the hit songs by the popular italian singer Raffaella Carrà is set in the ’70s and tells the story of a young woman with a desire of freedom who, after leaving her boyfriend alone at the altar, travels to Madrid to fulfill her dream of being a professional ballerina. The comedy was released in Spanish theaters last fall.
