Alex Somers (Captain Fantastic, Dawson City: Frozen Time, Miss Americana, Aloha, Charm City Kings) has composed the original music for the upcoming comedy Together Together. The film is written and directed by Nikole Beckwith (Stockholm, Pennsylvania) and stars Ed Helms, Patti Harrison, Tig Notaro, Julio Torres and Anna Konkle. The movie centers on an unexpected relationship that unfolds between a young loner who is hired as the surrogate for a single man in his 40s. Anthony Brandonisio (Bottled Up), Daniela Taplin Lundberg (The Kids Are All Right, Harriet) and Tim Headington (Hugo, Never Rarely Sometimes Always) are producing the project. Somers has previously scored the Lundberg-produced feature Honey Boy. Together Together will premiere next month at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival and has recently picked up by Bleecker Street for a domestic release next year.
Somers’ other recent projects also include the documentary Audrey, which has just been released on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD last week.
