La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack release for the Fox mystery drama The X-Files created by Chris Carter and starring David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson. The 4-CD set features previously unreleased music from the series composed by Emmy Award nominee Mark Snow (Millennium, Smallville, The New Mutants, La Femme Nikita, Blue Bloods). Among the episodes featured on the album are Apocrypha, Avatar, Never Again, Triangle, Invocation and Nothing Important Happened Today. Also included is the finale music from the second X-Files movie Fight the Future. The soundtrack is limited to 2,000 copies and will be available to order on the label’s website on Tuesday, December 1. The first three 4-CD sets featuring selections of Snow’s music from all nine original seasons were released in 2011, 2013 and 2016.
