Ascent Film has released a soundtrack album for the Italian/Irish thriller Shadows. The album features the film’s original music composed by Michele Braga (Dogman, They Call Me Jeeg, Blessed Madness, Nevia). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Shadows is directed by Carlo Lavagna and stars Mia Threapleton, Lola Petticrew and Saskia Reeves. The movie is set in a post-apocalyptic world and follows a mother and her two daughters who must avoid contact with daylight and its shadows in order to survive. The thriller, which premiered at this year’s Rome Film Festival, was originally set to be released in Italian theaters this month before the nation’s second lockdown and is now available to stream in Italy on Sky Italia. No domestic distribution deal has been announced yet.
