Nate Walcott & Mike Mogis are composing the original score for the upcoming CBS All Access limited series The Stand. The show is developed by Josh Boone & Benjamin Cavell based on Stephen King’s best-selling novel of the same name and stars Whoopi Goldberg, Alexander Skarsgård, James Marsden, Odessa Young, Jovan Adepo, Amber Heard, Owen Teague, Henry Zaga, Brad William Henke, Greg Kinnear, Irene Bedard and Nat Wolff. Boone has directed the first and last episodes and is also executive producing the project with Cavell (SEAL Team), Taylor Elmore (Justified), Will Weiske, Jimmy Miller (Bad Teacher, The Other Guys), Roy Lee (It, The LEGO Movie) and Richard P. Rubinstein (Dawn of the Dead, Children of Dune). Walcott & Mogis have previously scored Boone’s features The Fault in Our Stars and Stuck in Love and also contributed additional music the director’s The New Mutants. The Stand will premiere on December 17, 2020 on CBS All Access.
