Tom DeLonge, former frontman of the punk rock band Blink-182, is set to compose the music for his feature directorial debut Monsters of California. The coming-of-age sci-fi adventure stars Richard Kind, Casper Van Dien, Arianne Zucker, Gabrielle Haugh, Camille Kostek, Jack Samson, Jared Scott and Jack Lancaster. The movie follows a teenager and his derelict friends on a quest for the meaning behind a series of mysterious, paranormal events in Southern California. DeLonge is also producing The Cartel, Striker Entertainment and To The Stars production with Stan Spry (Twelve Forever) and Eric Woods (Creepshow). Monsters of California is currently shooting. A release in 2021 is expected. (Deadline)
