Keegan DeWitt (Hearts Beat Loud, Gemini, Divorce, I’ll See You in My Dreams, Sorry for Your Loss) has composed the original music for the new Quibi original series The Expecting. The show is written by Ben Ketai (Beneath, Chosen, StartUp, The Strangers: Prey at Night), directed by Mary Harron (American Psycho, The Notorious Bettie Page) and stars AnnaSophia Robb, Rory Culkin, Mira Sorvino, Hannah Murray and Michael Gaston. Ketai is also executive producing the Dark Castle Entertainment and Propagat production with Alex Mace, Hal Sadoff, Ben Silverman & Howard Owens (Charmed, Blood & Treasure), Greg Lipstone and Rodney Ferrell. DeWitt has previously scored Harron’s last feature Charlie Says. The Expecting will premiere next Monday, October 5 on Quibi.
Also coming up for DeWitt is the FX on Hulu original series A Teacher, which is set to premiere on November 10. His recent feature projects include Chad Hartigan’s Little Fish, which has just been picked up by IFC Films for a release on February 5, 2021, as well as Peter Sattler’s Broken Diamonds.
