ABKCO Records has announced the official soundtrack album for the Netflix original film The Devil All the Time. The album features two tracks by Americana music artist Pokey LaFarge (who also stars in the movie),  which are being released as a digital EP today, as well as several classic country recordingsincluding the traditional folk song Little Bessie by The Stanley Brothers. Billy Walker’s original 1961 country hit version of Willie Nelson’s Funny How Time Slips Away and the 1946 recording of the Delmore Brothers’ Hillbilly Boogie. Also included is the film’s original score composed by Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (Ozark, Boy ErasedEnemyThe Gift, Christine, Martha Marcy May Marlene). The full soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, September 18 and will be available to stream on Amazon. The Devil All the Time is directed by Antonio Campos and stars Tom Holland, Bill Skarsgård, Riley Keough, Mia Wasikowska, Robert Pattinson, Jason Clarke, Sebastian Stan, Harry Melling and Haley Bennett. The movie based on Donald Ray Pollock’s novel is set in Knockemstiff, Ohio and its neighboring backwoods, and follows a group of sinister characters as they converge around young man as he fights the evil forces that threaten him and his family. The thriller was released in select theaters last Friday and is premiering today on Netflix.
