Disney+ has announced today that Danny Jacob is returning as the composer for the upcoming animated film Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Candace Against the Universe. Karey Kirkpatrick, Emanuel Kiriakou and Kate Micucci have written the movie’s original songs. Walt Disney Records will release the official soundtrack album on August 28, 2020. The film is directed by Bob Bowen and features the voice talent of Ashley Tisdale, Vincent Martella, Caroline Rhea, Dee Bradley Baker, Alyson Stoner, Maulik Pancholy, Bobby Gaylor, Olivia Olson, Tyler Mann, Povenmire and Marsh, David Errigo Jr., Ali Wong, Wayne Brady, Diedrich Bader and Thomas Middleditch. The Disney Television Animation production tracks stepbrothers Phineas and Ferb as they set out across the galaxy to rescue their older sister Candace, who after being abducted by aliens, finds utopia in a far-off planet, free of pesky little brothers. Jacob has previously scored all episodes of the Phineas and Ferb TV series, as well as 2011’s Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension. Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Candace Against the Universe will premiere on August 28 exclusively on Disney+.

Do you do anything else besides hoping for stuff all day?
“Do you do anything else besides hoping for stuff all day?” the unofficial motto of certain soundtrack fans…. (see also the Film Score Monthly forums).
Do you do anything else other than think what I care about is stupid all day?
I never used the word “stupid”. Either way, you can care in more meaningful ways than posting the same basic comment under every article.
