Toydrum (aka Pablo Clements and James Griffith) (Prevenge, Future World, Deep Water) have been hired to score the upcoming horror thriller The Banishing. The film is directed by Christopher Smith (Triangle, Severance) and stars Jessica Brown Findlay, Sean Harris, John Heffernan and John Lynch. The movie is set in the 1930s and tells the story of a young reverend and his wife and daughter who move into a manor with a horrifying secret. David Beton, Ray Bogdanovich and Dean Lines wrote the screenplay. Jason Newmark and Laurie Cook (Don’t Hang Up, Pressure) are producing the WestEnd Films production with Maya Amsellem (Una) and Sharon Harel-Cohen. The composers have previously scored Smith’s last feature Detour. The Banishing is currently in post-production and is expected to premiere later this year.
