Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (Boy Erased, The Gift, Enemy, Ozark, Fear the Walking Dead) are scoring the upcoming horror thriller The Rental. The film marks the feature directorial debut of actor Dave Franco and stars Dan Stevens, Alison Brie, Shelia Vand and Jeremy Allen White. The movie follows two couples who embark on a weekend getaway to a seemingly perfect house they’ve booked online. Franco also co-wrote the screenplay with Joe Swanberg (Easy, Digging for Fire). They are also producing the project with Elizabeth Haggard, Chris Storer (Eighth Grade) and Black Bear’s Ben Stillman (Barry) & Teddy Schwarzman (The Imitation Game, All Is Lost). The Rental is expected to premiere in 2020.
The composers’ upcoming projects also include Antonio Campos’ The Devil All the Time and HBO limited series The Outsider.
