Brian Tyler (Fast & Furious, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Iron Man 3, Crazy Rich Asians, Now You See Me) is set to reteam with director Justin Baldoni on the upcoming drama Clouds. The film stars Fin Argus, Sabrina Carpenter, Madison Iseman, Neve Campbell and Thomas Everett Scott. The movie is based on the book Fly a Little Higher by Laura Sobiec and follows a 17-year-old who is diagnosed a second time with Osteosarcoma, a rare form of pediatric bone cancer and in the months leading up to his death, he finds the courage to date and fall in love with his dream girl. Kara Holden (Carrie Pilby, Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life) wrote the screenplay based on a previous draft by Casey La Scala and Patrick Kopka. Baldoni and La Scala are also producing the project with Mad Chance’s Andrew Lazar (American Sniper, Get Smart). Tyler has previously co-scored Baldoni’s last feature Five Feet Apart with Breton Vivian. Clouds is currently shooting in Montreal, Canada. A release in 2020 is expected for the Warner Bros. Pictures production.
Tyler’s other upcoming projects include Taylor Sheridan’s Those Who Wish Me Dead and the third season of Paramount Network’s Yellowstone. The composer has also recently scored Elizabeth Banks’ Charlie’s Angels, which is currently playing in theaters nationwide.
