Steve Mazzaro (The Boss Baby, Bullet to the Head, Ice Box) has composed the original score for the upcoming action thriller The Rhythm Section. Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, The Dark Knight, Inception, Gladiator) serves as the project’s executive music producer. The movie is directed by Reed Morano (The Handmaid’s Tale, I Think We’re Alone Now) and stars Blake Lively, Jude Law, Sterling K. Brown, Daniel Mays and Raza Jaffrey. The film is based on the novel by Mark Burnell and follows an ordinary woman on a path of self-destruction after her family is tragically killed in a plane crash and when she discovers that the crash was not an accident. Barbara Broccoli & Michael G. Wilson (Skyfall, Casino Royale, GoldenEye) are producing the project for Eon Productions. The Rhythm Section will be released in theaters nationwide on January 31, 2020 by Paramount Pictures.
