Madison Gate Records will release the official soundtrack album for the Lifetime original movie Patsy & Loretta. The album features the songs from the movie performed by lead actors Megan Hilty & Jessie Mueller. Also included is the drama’s original score composed by Tim Lauer. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically this Saturday, October 19 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Patsy & Loretta is directed by Callie Khouri (Nashville), written by Angelina Burnett and also stars Kyle Schmid, Joe Tippett and Janine Turner. The movie is based on the untold true story of the friendship between two of country music’s greatest icons, Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn. The drama will premiere on October 19 on Lifetime. This movie was very touching. What a wonderful friendship. My heart broke when Patsy died and left her best friend alone. The actors singing voices are absolutely amazing. Thank you for giving me and all the others who have watched this, a glimpse into the special bond these two women shared. Beautifully portrayed.
