Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (Boy Erased, The Gift, Enemy, Ozark, Fear the Walking Dead) are scoring the upcoming horror thriller Countdown. The film is written and directed by Justin Dec and stars Elizabeth Lail, Jordan Calloway, Talitha Bateman, Tichina Arnold, P.J. Byrne and Peter Facinelli. The movie follows a young nurse who downloads an app that claims to predict exactly when a person is going to die and tells her she only has three days to live. Sean Anders & John Morris (Daddy’s Home, Instant Family) are producing the project with John Rickard (Rampage, How to Be Single) and Zack Schiller (The Babysitter, Jane Got a Gun). The composers’ other upcoming projects include HBO’s The Outsider and new seasons of Netflix’s Ozark AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead and Showtime’s On Becoming a God in Central Florida, which has just been renewed for a second season. They have also recently scored Alfonso Gomez-Rejon’s director’s cut of The Current War, will be released in theaters on October 25, 2019, Veronika Franz’s & Severin Fiala’s The Lodge, which is set to open theatrically on February 7, 2020 and the Naomi Watts-starring thriller The Wolf Hour, which is currently awaiting a release date.
