Academy Award-nominated songwriter Diane Warren has written the original song Hide the Hurt for the documentary Cracked Up. The track is performed by Macy Gray and will be released as a digital single tomorrow, September 13 by Artistry Music and will be available to stream and download on Amazon Music. Warren who has been Oscar-nominated four out of the last five years has previously contributed original songs for this year’s Late Night, Breakthrough and Miss Bala. Cracked Up directed by Michelle Esrick follows the comedian, actor, and SNL icon Darrell Hammond and examines the lasting effects of childhood trauma.
