Back Lot Music will release the official soundtrack album for DreamWorks Animation’s & Pearl Studios’ Abominable. The album features the film’s original music composed by Rupert Gregson-Williams (Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Hacksaw Ridge, The Legend of Tarzan, The Crown) who previously scored DreamWorks’ animated features Over the Hedge and Bee Season. Also included are the original songs Beautiful Life by Bebe Rexha and Dreams by Phil Beaudreau, as well as Coldplay’s Fix You and Danger Twins’ Girl’s Gotta. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 13 and will be available to download here. A CD version will come out on November 1 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Abominable is written and directed by Jill Culton and features the voices of Chloe Bennet, Tenzing Norgay Trainor, Albert Tsai, Eddie Izzard, Sarah Paulson, Tsai Chin and Michelle Wong. The movie follows a teenage girl who encounters a young Yeti on the roof of her apartment building and – together with her friends, name him “Everest” and embark on a quest to reunite the magical creature with his family at the highest point on Earth.
