Jonathan Sadoff (Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, The Meddler, The Mick) is scoring the upcoming Hulu original series Dollface. The show is created by Jordan Weiss and stars Kat Dennings, Brenda Song, Shay Mitchell and Esther Povitsky. The comedy centers on a young woman who – after being dumped by her longtime boyfriend – must deal with her own imagination in order to literally and metaphorically re-enter the world of women, and rekindle the female friendships she left behind. Weiss & Dennings are also executive producing the ABC Signature Studios production with showrunner Ira Ungerleider (Angie Tribeca), Margot Robbie, Brett Hedblom, Scott Morgan, Tom Ackerley & Bryan Unkeless (I, Tonya, Bright), Nicole King and Stephanie Laing (Veep, Vice Principals). Matt Spicer who collaborated with Sadoff on Ingrid Goes West is executive producing and directed the first episode. Dollface will premiere on November 15, 2019 on Hulu.
Sadoff has also recently contributed music to the drama The Peanut Butter Falcon, which is currently playing in theaters nationwide.
