Why Not Productions has released a soundtrack album for the French thriller Oh Mercy! (Roubaix, une lumière). The album features the film’s original music composed by Gregoire Hetzel (Incendies, Summertime, Ismael’s Ghosts, The Midwife). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out the full track list and listen to audio samples. Oh Mercy! is written and directed by Arnaud Desplechin and stars Roschdy Zem, Antoine Reinartz, Léa Seydoux and Sara Forestier. The movie is set in the director’s native town of Roubaix in northern France and tells the true story of a crime in which two women murdered an elderly woman. The thriller premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and has been released in French theaters this past week. No domestic distribution deal has been announced yet.
