Premiering tonight is the Showtime original series On Becoming a God in Central Florida created by Robert Funke & Matt Lutsky and starring Kirsten Dunst, Theodore Pellerin, Ted Levine, Mel Rodriguez, Beth Ditto and Julie Benz. The film’s original music is composed by Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (Boy Erased, Ozark, The Gift, American Gods, Enemy). Premiering on Friday, August 30 is the Netflix original series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance directed by Louis Leterrier and starring Taron Egerton, Anya Taylor-Joy, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jason Isaacs, Mark Hamill, Keegan-Michael Key, Simon Pegg, Donna Kimball, Caitriona Balfe, Alicia Vikander, Andy Samberg and Helena Bonham Carter. Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Steve Jobs, Ocean’s 8) and Samuel Sim(Awake, The Halcyon, Home Fires) have composed the show’s original music. Also premiering on Friday is the Amazon original series Carnival Row created by Travis Beacham & Rene Echevarria and starring Orlando Bloom, Cara Delevingne, David Gyasi, Karla Crome, Indira Varma and Tamzin Merchant. The show’s original music is composed by Nathan Barr (True Blood, Hostel, The Americans, The House with a Clock in Its Walls, Cabin Fever).
