CMA Records will release a new compilation soundtrack album featuring several scores from the films of director Peter Mullan composed by Golden Globe and Grammy Award winner Craig Armstrong (Moulin Rouge!, The Great Gatsby, The Incredible Hulk, Love Actually, Romeo & Juliet). Among the titles included are the composer’s scores for 1998’s Orphans, 2002’s The Magdalene Sisters, 2010’s Neds, as well as his music for the shorts Good Day for the Bad Guys and Fridge. The soundtrack will be released digitally on August 9, 2019 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. All scores have previously been unreleased. A piano version of the theme from Orphans was featured on Armstrong’s Piano Works solo album.
