Variety is reporting that Grammy Award winner Harvey Mason Jr. is composing the music for the upcoming animated musical feature Ladybug & Cat Noir Awakening. The film directed by Jeremy Zag is based on his Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir TV series (which aired in the U.S. on Nickelodeon) and follows two Parisian teens who transform into the Ladybug and Cat Noir superheroes. Zag is also producing the Zag Company and The Awakening production with Aton Soumache (The Little Prince, Playmobil: The Movie, Upside Down). Ladybug & Cat Noir Awakening is currently in production. No word yet on a release date.
