Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for Juan José Campanella’s comedy drama The Weasel’s Tale (El Cuento de las Comadrejas). The album features the film’s original music composed by Emilio Kauderer (Miss Bala, Conversations with God) who previously collaborated with the director on the Academy Award-winning drama The Secret in Their Eyes and the animated feature Underdogs. Also included are songs performed by Brenda Lee, The Platters, Perry Como, Chubby Checker, Mitchell Ayres and His Orchestra. The soundtrack is now available to download overseas. Visit the British Amazon store to check out the full track list and listen to audio samples. The Weasel’s Tale is written and directed by Campanella and stars Graciela Borges, Oscar Martinez, Luis Brandoni, Clara Lago, Marcos Munstock and Nicolas Francella. The movie follows a group of filmmakers and actors who resist the efforts of a young couple to kick them out of their mansion. The Argentine/Spanish production is being released in Argentina and Brazil today and will open in Spain this summer. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
