22D Music has released a soundtrack album for the French drama Farewell to the Night (L’adieu à la nuit). The album features the film’s original music composed by Alexis Rault (Being 17, Ladies). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out the full track list and listen to audio samples. Farewell to the Night is directed by André Téchiné and stars Catherine Deneuve, Kacey Mottet Klein, Oulaya Amamra, Stéphane Bak, Kamel Labroudi and Mohamed Djouhri. The movie follows a woman who breeds horses in France and runs an almond plantation and who finds out about her grandson’s secrets when comes to visit her for one last time before he leaves for Canada. The drama premiered at this year’s Berlin Film Festival and is being released in French theaters today. No word yet on a domestic release.
