Ed Sheeran has recorded an original song for Danny Boyle’s upcoming musical comedy drama Yesterday. The track will be featured in the movie written by Richard Curtis and starring Himesh Patel, Lily James, Kate McKinnon, as well as the singer/songwriter himself. The movie, which follows a struggling singer whose dreams are fading who wakes to discover that The Beatles have never existed, also features an original score by Daniel Pemberton and new recordings of classic Beatles songs. Sheeran has previously contributed original songs for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and The Fault in Our Stars and also co-wrote a song for last year’s Johnny English Strikes Back. Yesterday will be released in theaters nationwide on June 28, 2019 by Universal Pictures. Visit the official movie website for updates.

A world where the Beatles don’t exist but Ed Sheeran does? Ah, a horror movie.
Imagine a world where no trolls exist.
Loved the movie.
