Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the Mexican drama The Good Girls (Las niñas bien). The album features the film’s original music composed by Tomás Barreiro (Museo, Perras). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The Good Girls is written and directed by Alejandra Márquez Abella and stars Ilse Salas, Cassandra Ciangherotti, Paulina Gaitan, Johanna Murillo and Flavio Medina. The movie follows a well-to-do socialite and her husband who must wrestle with the impact of Mexico’s 1982 economic crisis. The drama premiered at last year’s Toronto Film Festival and has just been released in Mexican theaters this past weekend. No word yet on a domestic release.
