Over the last couple of days, Brian Byrne (Albert Nobbs, Boychoir, The Good Doctor, The Secret Scripture) has been recording his score for the upcoming Amazon original series Modern Love. The show is developed by John Carney (Once, Begin Again, Sing Street) based on the New York Times column and weekly podcast and stars Anne Hathaway, Tina Fey, Dev Patel, Catherine Keener, Andy Garcia, Cristin Milioti, John Slattery, Olivia Cooke, Sofia Boutella, Brandon Victor Dixon, John Gallagher, Jr., Julia Garner, Shea Whigham, Gary Carr and Andrew Scott. Each episode of the anthology series will explore love in all of its complicated and beautiful forms. Carney is also executive producing the project with Todd Hoffman and New York Times’ Sam Dolnick & Choire Sicha. Byrne is recording his music with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra in Dublin, Ireland. Modern Love will premiere later this year on Amazon Prime.
