The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) has announced today Jennifer Hudson will be performing the original song I’ll Fight from the documentary RBG at this year’s Academy Awards ceremony. The song, which is written by Diane Warren, is nominated this year in the Original Song category, along with Shallow from A Star Is Born, Where Lost Things Go from Mary Poppins Returns, All the Stars from Black Panther and When A Cowboy Trades His Spurs For Wings from The Ballad of Buster Scruggs. More announcements about the performance of the other nominated songs are expected soon. The 91st Academy Awards will be presented on Oscar Sunday, February 24, 2019, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center.
