Cue the theremin Well done, Justin Hurwitz.
First Man is one of the most boring scores I’ve ever heard. There were so many scores this year 20 times better than First Man. I’m always up for awards season and someone who really likes awards season, and thought this year would be different but it’s the same shit again.
Sorry. A bit much. Just really expected and hoped that a score not like the past 10 years would win. I’m a very big score lover and get a bit frustated when the scores I love don’t really get any recognition. I know that’s silly. But I think it’s a shame. I.M.O. a blockbuster score is a lot more interesting to listen to. There is a lot more happening. This year I loved, If Beale Street Could Talk. But it’s not something I’ll listen to in 20 years or maybe even remember. I will do that with scores like Black Panther, Iinfinity War, Ready Player One or Fantadtic Beasts. I just wished a score like that would maybe win something outside of awards like Saturn Awards. And with the Golden Globes I thought Black Panther was gonna win.
I disagree .First man should have won. The score is powerful, beautiful and memorable! In essence, It is the score to wins since the powerful and majestical heaven and earth by the new age icon kitaro in 1994.

First man is the best score to win since the powerful and majestical heaven and earth by the new age icon kitaro in 1994
