Mica Levi (Jackie, Under the Skin, Marjorie Prime) has recently composed the original music for the upcoming drama Monos. The film is directed by Alejandro Landes (Porfirio) and stars Julianne Nicholson, Moisés Arias, Sofia Buenaventura, Deiby Rueda, Karen Quintero and Laura Castrillón. The movie revolves around a group of eight kids with guns who watch over a hostage and a conscripted milk cow at a faraway mountaintop. Landes also co-wrote the screenplay with Alexis Dos Santos (Glue) and is producing the project with Fernando Epstein, Santiago Zapata and Cristina Landes. Monos will have its world premiere in January at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.
