Composer Blake Neely is reteaming with director Ryan White on the upcoming documentary Ask Dr. Ruth. The film chronicles the incredible life of Dr. Ruth Westheimer, a Holocaust survivor who became America’s most famous sex therapist, as she revisits her painful past and her career at the forefront of the sexual revolution. White is also producing the project with Rafael Marmor, Jessica Hargrave and Christopher Leggett (Becoming Bond). Neely and White have previously collaborated on 2014’s The Case Against 8 and last year’s Netflix docu-series The Keepers. Ask Dr. Ruth will premiere next month at the Sundance Film Festival and has just been picked up by for a theatrical release by Magnolia Pictures followed by a streaming debut on Hulu in 2019.

Neely also continues to score the CW’s All-American, Arrow, Riverdale, The Flash, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow. He also recently scored the Lifetime original series You, which has just been renewed for a second season, which will debut exclusively on Netflix.
