Adam Taylor (The Handmaid’s Tale, Before I Fall, I Think We’re Alone Now) has composed the original score for the first season of the new Netflix original series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The show is developed by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Riverdale) and stars Kiernan Shipka, Ross Lynch, Miranda Otto, Lucy Davis, Chance Perdomo, Michelle Gomez, Chance Perdomo, Jaz Sinclair, Richard Coyle, Tati Gabrielle and Bronson Pinchot. The series is based on Aguirre-Sacasa’s comic book series of the same title and finds Sabrina wrestling to reconcile her dual nature – half-witch, half-mortal – while standing against the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit. Aguirre-Sacasa is also executive producing the project with Greg Berlanti & Sarah Schechter (Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl), Jon Goldwater (Sabrina: Secrets of a Teenage Witch), as well as Lee Toland Krieger (The Age of Adaline) who also directed the first two episodes. The full first season of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will premiere this Friday, October 26 on Netflix.
Taylor will also return to score the third season of Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale, which will debut in 2019.
