Academy Award-winning composer Stephen Warbeck (Shakespeare in Love, Billy Elliot, Quills, Proof) is making his feature directorial debut on the upcoming British comedy The Thin Man. He is co-directing the project with John Paul Davidson. The movie starring Ciaran Hinds, Stephen Dillane and Maïwenn tells the story of a man journeying through France in a Fiat 500, chased by five angry men in a Citroën Dyane. Warbeck & Davidson also wrote the screenplay. Warbeck will also compose the score for the comedy, which is produced by Daniel-Konrad Cooper (Dead In A Week: Or Your Money Back) for Rather Good Films. The Thin Man is just finishing principal photography and is expected to premiere in 2019. (Screen Daily)
