La-La Land Records has announced the details of the new soundtrack release for the 1993 sports comedy The Sandlot directed by David Mickey Evans and starring Tom Guiry, Mike Vitar, Karen Allen, Denis Leary and James Earl Jones. The album features the expanded and remastered original score from the 20th Century Fox production composed by Academy Award nominee David Newman (Anastasia, Ice Age, The Flintstones, War of the Roses, Girls Trip, The Nutty Professor), including over 40 minutes of previously unreleased music. The 25th Anniversary soundtrack edition, which is limited to 1500 copies, is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. The Sandlot is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
