Lorne Balfe has signed on to score the upcoming action thriller 6 Underground. The film is directed by Michael Bay (Transformers, Armageddon, The Rock) and stars Ryan Reynolds, Corey Hawkins, Dave Franco, Melanie Laurent, Adria Ariona, Manuel Garcia-Ruffo, Ben Hardy, Lior Raz and Payman Maadi. No plot details have been announced yet for the Netflix original movie, which is scripted by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Deadpool, Zombieland). Bay is also producing the project with Ian Bryce (Saving Private Ryan, Twister), as well as Skydance Media’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg & Don Granger (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation). Balfe has previously collaborated with Bay on the 2016 feature 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi. He also scored Skydance’s Terminator Genisys, Geostorm and this year’s Mission: Impossible – Fallout. 6 Underground is currently shooting and is expected to premiere in 2019 on Netflix.
Balfe’s other upcoming projects include Peter Cattaneo’s Military Wives starring Kristin Scott Thomas and Sharon Horgan. He also composed the music for the documentary Studio 54, which premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and will be released in select U.S. theaters on October 5 by Zeitgeist Films.
:O What happened with the Jablonsky-Bay relationship?
what are you talking about???? nothing has happened
Why no Jablonsky ?
Balfe’s Fallout was the best of any of the other in the franchise.
Oh, okay, I get it. I’m pretty sure if it comes out this summer or fall on Netflix.
