Matthew Herbert has recently recorded his score for the upcoming drama Gloria Bell. The film is written and directed by Sebastian Lelio and stars Julianne Moore, John Turturro, Caren Pistorius, Michael Cera, Holland Taylor and Brad Garrett. The movie is based on Lelio’s 2013 feature Gloria about a free-spirited, middle-aged divorcee hoping to find love on the dance floor. The director is also producing the project with Juan de Dios Larrain & Pablo Larrain (Jackie, Neruda). Herbert has previously collaborated with Lelio on his Academy Award-winning feature A Fantastic Woman and the filmmaker’s English language debut Disobedience starring Rachel Weisz & Rachel McAdams. Gloria Bell will premiere next month at the Toronto Film Festival.
