Harry Escott is reuniting with director Michael Winterbottom on the upcoming drama The Wedding Guest. The film is written and directed by Winterbottom (Wonderland, The Claim) and stars Dev Patel, Sidhu Manpreet, Nish Nathwani, Radhika Apte and Jim Sarbh. The movie follows a mysterious, young British man on his journey across Pakistan and India. Melissa Parmenter is producing the project with Deepak Nayar (Lost Highway, Bend It Like Beckham). Escott has previously collaborated with Winterbottom on 2007’s A Mighty Heart starring Angelina Jolie and 2014’s The Face of an Angel starring Kate Beckinsale. The Wedding Guest will premiere next month at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival.
Escott (Shame, Hard Candy, Welcome to the Punch) is also expected to return as the composer of the second season of Fox Networks Group Europe & Africa’s Deep State.
